I think this is disney & pixar's masterpiece - Finding Nemo Reviews

Before "Finding Nemo" begins, we wonder if we're going to experience as much magic as we did when we first saw "Toy Story", and then went on to see other great films like "Toy Story 2", "A Bug's Life", and "Monster's Inc.". When "Finding Nemo" finally does begin, we've already seen enough magic to make us cry. I think this is Disney & Pixar's masterpiece. The film begins with two clown fish gazing from their anemone home. Marlin (Albert Brooks) and his wife Coral seem like the happiest couple, seemingly about to start the perfect life. But when a Barracuda appears and attacks, Marlin awakes from blacking out only to discover that Coral is gone and so are all of his un-hatched eggs. Well, all except one. Remembering that Coral wanted to name one of the babies Nemo, he gives the baby that name, but Marlin doesn't want to lose Nemo either, so from then on he becomes an over-protective father to Nemo. On Nemo's first day of school, Marlin becomes so overrun with fear for Nemo, and Nemo (Alexander Gould) is dared by some other fish to swim across the deep part of the ocean. Marlin catches up and the father and son get in a fight. Suddenly some divers appear and Nemo is snatched away. Marlin tries desperately to find the divers' motorboat, but he fails to catch up with it. Then Marlin bumps into a blue fish named Dory (Ellen Degeneres) who claims that she knows where the boat is. But when Marlin tries following her, she begins to act strange, and she explains later that it's because she suffers from short-term memory loss. Dory and Marlin find one of the diver's masks, and though Dory is getting on his nerves, Marling finds out that she can read the human language, and she's suddenly able to memorize tha address on the mask, even through her constant memory loss. Together Marlin and Dory face many obstacles on their journey through the ocean, including: encountering vegetarian sharks, being chased by a monstrous fish in the abyss, swimming through a school of jellyfish, getting stuck in a whale, and riding in the mouth of a pelican named Nigel (Geoffrey Rush). Meanwhile, Nemo is far away in a fish tank in a dentist's office somewhere in Sydney, Australia. There, Nemo befriends the other creatures in the tank led by a fish named Gill (Willem Dafoe), and with the help of them, Nemo begins planning escapes from the tank, and he'll have to escape quick, before the dentist's careless niece Darla takes him home with her! Albert Brooks is splendid as Marlin, and Ellen Degeneres, who was obviously born to play Dory, steals the show with her outstanding performace. These are two marvelous actors playing two remarkable fish. "Shark Tale" was just released into theaters, but it looks disappointing after what the critics have rated it overall. That would be a shame if it's really as bad as people say it is, even though I understand why it wouldn't be as good as "Finding Nemo", because the critics have said that it's got "Godfather" type jokes, which little kids probably wouldn't understand. "Finding Nemo" is a huge delight. When first seen it looks like a movie you'd want to watch over and over again, but believe me, you'll get used to it after about 4 times. I don't like the fact that Pixar probably isn't working with Disney anymore (their last film, "The Incredibles, is soon to come out), but who knows? Maybe they'll reunite one day. And "Finding Nemo" is Disney and Pixar's greatest achievement ever.

Should be a classic - Finding Nemo Reviews

Very cute, great film for all ages! Funny, creative, Australian based film. The voices match all the characters to bring the talking sea creatures to life. Just a sit back and enjoyable for all.

Animation and it's moments - Finding Nemo Reviews

This story is both beyond the words deliteful and funny, it surpasses all those praiseworthy words critics throw out these days....it's beyond any words that can capture how this movie both made me laugh and cry....This movie is the epitome of the love a parent has for their child and the length they'd go through to reach their child and save them or rather guide them and be both parent and friend....and not just a parent or just a friend....

An amazing underwater adventure! - Finding Nemo Reviews

Finding Nemo did it! It made up for what I thought Monsters Inc lacked. When your watching the film, you sometimes forget that almost the entire movie takes place underwater, the film is that engaging! I loved it, and I think you will too.

Finding Nemo is a hilarious movie packed action and fish! The story is great, and not only is this movie funny, it's intense and exciting! Ellen DeGeneres was so funny in this movie! (esp. the part where she tries to speak whale) This is an oscar-worthy movie and it should win Best Animated Feature.

Sea-ing is believing - Finding Nemo Reviews

After raising the quality of computer-generated animation with the Toy Story franchise, A Bug's Life and Monsters, Inc., the animation maestros at Pixar have outdone themselves. Forget about being a great kids movie--Finding Nemo is just a great movie. When a wet-behind-the-fins clown fish, Nemo (Alexander Gould), flexes his independence in the face of his overprotective dad, Marlin (Albert Brooks), he's captured and delivered into a dentist's aquarium. Marlin and his new fishy pal Dory (Ellen DeGeneres, who gets all the best lines) go in search of the lost little guy. They travel across an ocean full of wild characters, as the writing embraces Brooks' silly neuroses and lets no fish joke get away. Stuffed to the gills with smart humor, crystal-clear animation and a touching story, Nemo is the catch of the summer. There are 3.7 trillion fish in the ocean*, they're looking for one.

Awesome! - Finding Nemo Reviews

this movie was way better then the first! I could watch it again and again! I've seen it 3 times and still luv it, its one of those movies where you see new things everytime, its a mouthful! I give it 2 thumbs up and 5 stars! -Jessi, PA, 15

Good movie - Finding Nemo Reviews

Finding Nemo is a good movie about fish. Although I didn't see any thing "educational" about it. But it was funny and not educational and thats all that counts. Right?

Dorthy is the best - Finding Nemo Reviews

This movie is going to stand as one of my all time favourites it has good visuals, good story, some thing to laugh about and one hell of an entertainer i love this one................. I am waiting for the next one from Pixar animations

The best animated feature there ever was - Finding Nemo Reviews

Disney and Pixar are about to break up. But before they do, and Pixar goes solo, they released for us one of the greatest animated films ever made. Why would this be one of the best? The story is simple, yet enthralling. The situations are awesome. The characters are wonderful. The animation itself took my breath away. This movie deserved its award. The plot is pretty basic. A clownfish named Marlin (Albert Brooks) is leading a happy life with his wife, Coral. Then one day, a barracuda attacks and Coral is killed and all their eggs are gobbled, except for one. This one is given the title Nemo by Marlin, because that was what Coral wanted. Time passes and Nemo (Alexander Gould) grows to be a young fish. He sets out for school with a nervous Marlin. At school he meets new friends and is taken to the dropoff, the edge of the reef that dives into the depths of the ocean. Nemo and his friends sneak away from the group and see a boat floating on surface. They test each other to see who can go further. Nemo goes the farthest and touches the boat, to an outraged Marlin?s dismay. When Nemo journeys back from the boat, a diver appears behind him and snatches Nemo up. Marlin desperately chases the boat, but it is soon lost. He meets the fish Dory (the wonderful and funny Ellen DeGenres) and they go on a search, meeting sharks, turtles, jellyfish, and even end up swallowed by a whale. Meanwhile, Nemo becomes associated with a bunch of fish living in a tank. They all have different personalities, each from being in the tank to long. You might think I?m a freak for taking this much time just to set-up the movie for you, when the movie?s set-up only takes about thirteen minutes before Nemo is captured. I don?t care. I love this movie. Lets start with the animation, shall we? The animation was absolutely beautiful. Whenever the fish are out of the water, they glisten and shine, and you can tell they?re wet. The birds are wonderful, but the seagulls look a little clay-like. Still awesome. The water moves so realistically that in the opening shot you could almost swear it was real. The fish dart around so realistically, and you can tell the animators spent night and day and everything in between studying for this movie. The voice talent is awesome. Ellen DeGenres is the only person in the world who could do Dory, the forgetful fish. She adds a great presence and made me laugh a few times, something rare for me when watching a Disney movie. Albert Brooks is tremendous at Marlin, and I loved the dude who voiced Bruce, the Great White. Crush, who was voiced by the director, Andrew Stanton, is awesome. Gill, a tank fish, is voiced beautifully by Willem Dafoe. Those are just a few of the amazing voices in this movie. All in all, Finding Nemo is, in my opinion, the best animated feature out there. You can?t top, not even with Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. Finding Nemo is a triumph that will be celebrated by generations to come and will never die.

In whale or english - Finding Nemo Reviews

Whether in whale or english, Finding Nemo was a great movie for people of many ages. From children to adults. People of every age laughed at the jokes and became sad during the sad parts of the film. Marlin (Nemo's Father)- Very protective of his son Nemo, is very serious and needs to learn to have more fun but is a great character. Nemo- Cute little fish. Has an adorable voice but needs to obey his father. Is very brave even with a fin that is smaller than average. Great character. Bruce (the great white shark)- Has a smile that may scare younger children. When he smells blood he is filled with rage. This scene may also scare younger children. Otherwise, the film is good for them. Dory- If you see Finding Nemo, expect her to be your favourite. She is hilarious and bilingual! She speaks English and Whale. She also has short-term memory loss. You can tell too! She forgets things very quickly. She even forgets why Marlin is swimming with her. Ellen DeGeneres was the perfect voice actor for this crazy character. By the way, if you have children, expect them to be practicing Whale when you return to your home. You will definately enjoy this movie, whether you are a child, teen, adult, or senior!

D - for dumb humor - Wedding Crashers Reviews

I am simply let down everytime I get talked into going to an american made comedy. Who's rating these comedy movies... post pubescent boys and girls? I guess if you think bare breasted women, stupid cliches' and just plain dumb writing is funny... more power to you. I'll stick to the foreign comedies, until Hollywood can produce something more funny than this type of garbage.

Finding nemo - Finding Nemo Reviews

It was the best Pixar movie I ever saw. It was the funniest movie. It's definately a movie you have to see this summer.

You have to find this! - Finding Nemo Reviews

It's a strange sensation knowing that Pixar has made such an excellent film out of something that could have easily been terrible. And perhaps that's one of the reasons I embrace this film so full-heartedly. This tale of a lost little clownfish at first sounds like a tale only enjoyable to 5-year-olds, but is as engaging to adults with it's genuine humor and pure emotional content. Very rare indeed that a CG character is able to express themselves fully, not to mention this comes from a CG fish. Finding Nemo is a tale about Nemo, a young clownfish (and sole survivor of a barracuda attack when he was still a larve) and his father Marlin (voiced by the amazing Albert Brooks). Marlin is worrier, constantly being overprotective of his son for the slightest things (I don't have to tell you that Nemo is getting more and more fed up by it as he is growing up). It is when Nemo is on a field trip to the edge of the reef that Nemo is taken by a couple of scuba divers. Marlin chases right after, but is no match keeping up with a boat. It is then that he meets Dory (played with incredible zeal by Ellen Degeneres), a blue fish with a serious problem. The two of them take on sharks, jellyfish, meet turtles and whales as they journey to Sydney to find Nemo. It is hard to find only one thing about this film that is remarkable. In fact, I cannot find any flaws in this timeless tale that equals in range and depth as The Lion King. The characters are fully rendered with emotional ranges that make them more believable than most real human beings. Albert Brooks and Ellen Degeneres lead an incredible cast of voice actors. Andrew Stanton directs the animation with an eye of fantastic realism. The color schemes are brilliant and brings the palate to life. Not to mention that this film has no villan, even the scuba diver (a dentist by profession) thinks he was doing the little fish a favor by bringing him back to the aquarium at his workplace. It's these little touches that make a lasting difference between a good film and a perfect film. Finding Nemo is a classic example of a PERFECT FILM.

A must see! - Finding Nemo Reviews

Just a wonderful movie for the whole famly!! I went with my grown up daughter and son in law,we all enjoyed it!

Finally, a good movie! - Finding Nemo Reviews

I didn't want to go see it at first. I was dragged to see it. But thank goodness I was. GOOD, GOOD, GOOD, GOOD! movie. Better than almost all the crap that's been around lately. Witty, funny, and you definately sympathized with nimo's dad. Point is, this is good. Best Pixar has done yet. I was very surprised. I thought the story in the begining was just a bit 'too' strong for children. And there was a scene, I forget which, oh yes, the time when nimo is sucked into the tube, where you did jump out of your seat. In fact, a small child leaped up and broke into tears "I want to go home!!". Dude, I hear ya.....

Disney gots no future! using re-run ideas w/ cg! - Finding Nemo Reviews

The movie is good but DISNEY needs some new ideas. All these same old lost&found stories are repeatitive. Its no different from Toy Story, Monster Inc, Ice Age and other Computer Graphic stories used by disney in the past. ALL THESE MOVIES ARE DOING IS REAPING IN MONEY FOR MORE MECHANDISING! YOU'VE GOT TO BE A ZOMBIE IF YOU HAVEN'T REALIZED ALL THESE DISNEY MOVIES ARE THE SAME! ALL THEY ADDED IS A NEW THEME FROM TOYS TO DINOSAURS TO MONSTERS TO FISH! WAKE UP PPL!

A splash (instead of a smash) - Finding Nemo Reviews

Finding Nemo is the BEST movie that me and my other friends have seen. I think that it is really, really cute and funny! Finding Nemo was a great movie, but the begining was a bit scary for younger children. It has many jokes for both young and older people. Overal Finding Nemo was a great movie for any age!

Finding oscar... uh, nemo - Finding Nemo Reviews

Simply the best "fish" movie since 'Jaws'. Okay, apples and oranges I know, but look out Oscar. The plot is simplistic, but hey, it's an animated kid/family movie; son runs away (uh... swims away) and Dad goes after him (But it's much more than that). Pixar has proven once again that it rules the digital animation world. Everyone who voiced this masterpiece did a stellar job, but the Oscar goes too? Okay, I don't know if the voice of a digitally animated fish can win an award for Best Supporting Actress, but in my world, Ellen DeGeneres wins fins down. Her character Dorie, the "real blue" fish is beyond adorable in all her forgetfullness. The movie is called 'Finding Nemo' but it could have just as easily have been called... uh, did I mention how adorable Dorie was? Anyway... the visuals are breathtaking and makes you want to grab some scuba gear and head on down to the reef. (just don't bring home any souvenirs). Disney, you have truly raised the bar on kid friendly films. Oscars better be on the mantle a year from now. Uh, did I mention how adorable Dorie was?

Finding nemo hits the spot - Finding Nemo Reviews

Disney has hit yet another home run with "Finding Nemo:. It is the best Disney animated film since "Tarzan".Ellen DeGeneres does an awesome job as Dory, as does Albert Brooks as Marlon. This movie is a must see and worth seeing over and over again.

The best movie! - Finding Nemo Reviews

This was truly one of the best movies I have ever seen! I would recommend this movie to any age! Just overall FUN!!! This movie will be a top seller years to come! Fab!!!

Doo youuu speeeaaak whaaaleee - Finding Nemo Reviews

This movie is absolutely the most adorable thing I've seen all year!!! It's a great movie for kids, I took my little twin nieces to see it, let's just say, they've seen it at least 10 times!!! The movie is so cute, funny, adorable, and just too much for words!! One last thing "THAT WAS AWESOME LITTLE DUDE!!!"

Dory is hilarious!! - Finding Nemo Reviews

I am not a big fan of kid movies, but this one was pretty funny, Ellen Degeneres was perfect for the part of the fish who forgets everything. The story is cool, I think the little girl is funny and the part with the guy getting the root canal is hilarious, the graphics are awesome for a cartoon, they look real. My favorite characters are Dory, Bruce, Darla, and the bubble guy.

Give me a break! - Finding Nemo Reviews

People are praising this movie so much that it has become absolutely ridiculous. It is definitely THE most over-rated movie this summer. After it is all said and done, were left with a kid movie. And not a particularly interesting one. But of course, kids eat it up and are able to watch it over and over again (the resaon it's making so much money). Anybody a little more mature than a 9 year old will not be impressed with this movie. It is not particularly funny. It is not particularly dramatic. It is not particularly attention-grabbing. It is not particularly.. - anything. It's just another kid movie. "Ice age" was way funnier and had way more dramatic moments. "Shrek" is above and beyond "Finding Nemo" in every way. "Finding Nemo" did not suck. It was not bad. It just simply wasn't what people made it out to be. It's a nice little, well-mannered kid movie that kids will find breathtaking. Ages 2-9 will eat every second of it up. When I remember back when I was a kid, I was able to watch the lamest of cartoons over and over and over again. I'm not calling "Nemo" lame, but that's what's going on here. Children are infatuated with it and "force" their parents to take them to go see it. That's the movie's secret. It just simply had a good formula. Otherwise, it's just another one in the bunch.

A better disney than seen for a while - Finding Nemo Reviews

What makes this tacky story so wonderful? Love. A father's love for his son. A father just like me, overprotective, but loving. We understand Merlin's quirks. Nemo is harder to identify with though Dory is a hoot. Artistically it rates with the better Disney's, the last great one being Beauty and the Beast (I know the Lion King came after B&B, but I didn't like it). For once, the kid isn't the all smart one and the parent the idiot. Since when did parents get so stupid. In every Disney movie the parents are either dead, evil or just plain old incompetent. Here's one where none fully apply. Nemo's mother is gone, but Dad is here, alive and kicking. What else powers the movie is love. Not romance, but love. True, family love. Love that will cast out fear, to quote from the God, the creator of the universe. Love which is not interested in kissing or screwing, but love that is sacrificing, serving and insane. The parents love for a child, who can explain it. Finding Nemo far from explains it, but it reveals it. Its the love that continues to put out posters for a missing child, years after she/he disappears. Its the love the cries to sleep at night at the trouble of the wayward child. Its the love that forgives the defiance that caused the hurt and works to heal the wound, to repair the breach, to make it all better. Love that we haven't seen in hollywood for a long, long time. (and aren't likely to see for yet another long long time.). In Nemo a child's disobedience proved disasterous. A father's resourcefulness, wisdom fueled by love, saved the day. And the Father too learned, that the child needs a little freedom and must take reasonable risks. Good show Disney. Do it again.

A wonderful story! - Finding Nemo Reviews

If you have kids, this story will move you. There were parts of the movies that made me get a knot in my throat. Its hard not putting yourself in place of the daddy fish Marlin. I loved this movie, but then again I love all the Disney Pixar movies. I felt the same way about Monsters, Inc.

Pixar rocks - Finding Nemo Reviews

This is by far the Best Movie of the Year, and ranks very close to the Best Animated Movie of All Time. Pixar Animation Studios has done a terrific job and really spared no expense. I have never felt emotion for fish before, curious. People will most likely want to see Finding Nemo for its stunning Visuals of Ocean life, and Trust me they will get what they want, But along with that they will get a true Father and Son adventure, and a true frindship movie all at the same time. The story is simple but the emotion is perfect and thats what carrys this movie. See Finding Nemo Sea it now.

Finding nemo - Finding Nemo Reviews

I'm sorry if I disappoint anyone, but Pixar are not the gods that everyone believes they are. Pixar released a very flawed movie with Finding Nemo, and the reason it surpassed Lion King financially makes no sense to me. First off, yes, it is a good movie. I like it. But not so much that I would give it an A, and I don't think it should receive an A compared to other movies in the genre that have received A's. Lion King deserved an A. Toy Story and its sequel deserve an A. And Monsters Inc. deserved an A. But this movie is a B. The plot line is sufficient, at best. And I can hardly find any character in any of the characters. Marlin is completely predictable, Dora gets a grin from you at best, Nemo is typically passive, and the only characters I really found remotely interesting were the twitchy sharks and the rad turtle. I have no bias against Pixar. I have in fact loved every pixar/disney movie that have come out and would willingly throw a million A's at them. But Finding Nemo lacks a foundation of warmth and awareness of the audience. From the typical storyline, to, even worse, the impersonal characters, I find it hard to give Finding Nemo the A that it has been bestowed.

A movie to talk about - Finding Nemo Reviews

This little pixar disney combo was yet another boom at the box office. A great movie for all ages because of it's comedic performances, great plot, as well as the beautiful full of life animated fish filling the screen. But after all this comotion about a movie based on a clown fish, it has come to the media's attention that the clown fish is one of the few fish that can actually change sex whenever it feels like. How about that for knowledge? Tell your friends to see the movie because it's great, and then afterwards give them that piece of info and they will think you are a god.

One heck of a spectacular whirlwind!! - Finding Nemo Reviews

What more is there to say about the crowd-pleasing ageless adventure? To a teenager like me, movies you can watch with your entire family and enjoy are hard to come by. What was really amazing was that I felt completely submerged in the underwater world. As soon as you enter the theater, the screen brings to life an adorable story with splashes of little surprises. From the eyes of a slightly disabled clownfish, you will follow him and his father through separate adventures that will teach them about themselves more than anything. And their tireless search for one another shows the true meaning of how "Love moves mountains". All the cute creatures had strong and likable personalities, so it was easy to latch onto one and relate with him/her vicariously. Finding Nemo rekindled emotion that I haven't felt since the death of Mufasa(Simba's father) in the Lion King. Yeah, that's right, I cried, and not because I was sad the movie was going to end soon; I cried because, for once, loneliness provoked a wave of empathy that I had never felt before. After the movie was over, I was overcome with this "unusual" (cue spooky music) understanding for fish and marine life. The movie was an overwhelming visual experience that: children will learn lessons and learn about the ocean; teenagers will find cute and heartwarming; adults and above will feel like a kid again. Everyone giggled and at times full-out chortled at the fun, silly characters, that you will fall absolutely in love with (the baby turtle "totally rockin dude" Squirt was one of my favorites). So take my advice, if you haven't seen it, go now for the grander feeling only a giant-screen theater can offer. [p.s. sit near the front (not stuck to the screen though) to feel the difference of being in the SPLASH ZONE!]

Amazing! - Finding Nemo Reviews

This movie had amazing animations and touched hearts around the world! This movie deserves 1,000 stars! Finding Nemo made tops of Pixar and Walt Disney Movies. It made me and my family leave the theater in tears!

Truly magical life of the ocean - Finding Nemo Reviews

The animations are excellent, the story is brilliant, the plot of the story is extremely smart, and the voice-givers are so talented. This magnificent work will definitely earn at least an Academy Award for Best Animated Feature next year.

Find finding nemo and you'll love it - Finding Nemo Reviews

I am not a big fan of kids movies but Finding Nemo changed my mind. It was both imaginative and hilarious. Ellen Degenerous made me laugh throughout the entire movie. It was very well animated and the cast was perfect for their roles. When i saw it i was the only teenager there without his girl friend but i don't regret it. So how ever old you are don't miss this great movie.

Pure cinematic genious!!!! - Finding Nemo Reviews

Finding Nemo proves to be the hit, must see, family friendly film of the year! This movie swims along at a fast pace grabbing the audiences attention from the get-go. The most obvious eye catching aspect of Nemo is the animation. I am not kidding when I say it is the best CGI graphics ever. Pixar Animation Studios outdid theirselves again! But the directors demanded not to stop at that, so they bring the most zany, and wild characters to life, as they battle their way across the great seas. The last great decision that I will talk about is the voice acting. Every voice talent this movie had was perfect for their characters! Ellen Degeneras was probably the most memorable, voicing one of the main characters, who can "speak whale." This movie has everything going for it, keeps your attention untill the final credits, and will be sure to be THE DICUSSION of your family for the next few weeks. Do yourselves a favor parents and see Nemo WITH your kids! Trust me, you won't be dissapointed you did!

Uproarious and entertaining! - Finding Nemo Reviews

"Pixar continues to create spectacle wonders pleasing to the eye with its fifth cartoon installment, ?Finding Nemo.? With each new computer animated feature, it seems the more impressive the visuals are and less intriguing the stories are. This is not to say ?Finding Nemo? is a boring tale, because the lively characters, the colorful underwater scenery, and the mood glue you into the theater seat, intently waiting on the next wisecrack line or fulgurant optical marvel." For a full review, please visit www.movietitan.net

A pixar delight - Finding Nemo Reviews

To simply say of this movie that Pixar just wanted to do for water what Monsters Inc did for fur, doesn't do it justice. The effects *are* impressive - but there's more to this movie than that. The story of the search for Nemo is endearingly told with some truly memorable characters. The kids will adore it - and as with all Pixar flicks - the adults will get a lot out of it too.

Great movie for the family!!! - Finding Nemo Reviews

Findng nemo is one of the best movies i have seen all year and the best animated movie i have ever seen. The animation is brilliant with vivid colors and graphics. It is a pretty funny movie for adults and kids (which you dont expect from a movie of its sort). I think this movie is well worth your time to go see.

149 words of praise for ellen degeneres - Finding Nemo Reviews

I've not yet written a full review for this amazing latest film from Pixar, which may be their best ever. I do, however, want to single out Ellen Degeneres, who shines through like a comedy superstar as Dorie. Pixar gave her full license, obviously, to improv and just be herself, and they animated around her, and it was faith well invested. Somehow, taking on the guise of a fish allows Ellen's hilariously self-conscious stream-of-consciousness personality to shine, separated and independent of her many other comedic efforts over the years, which unfortunately, were ultimately forced to focus on elements of her personal life which are interesting with the historic context of her career, but not as funny as Dorie, the well-intentioned fish with lots of love and few brain cells. Like Eddie Murphy, who struggles to find acceptance in other fields but is a blockbuster star in movies like 'Shrek,' Ms. Degeneres appears to have hit a home run as a family-friendly voice actor.
